In the first part of the process, we will discuss your travel itinerary to better understand what kind of outfits you will need to enjoy every moment of your trip. Your itinerary will also help dictate the size of suitcase(s) you plan to bring along during the trip. For example, if you plan to only bring a carry-on suitcase because your trip includes a stop in multiple cities, then we will definitely be mindful of this throughout the process so all the outfits comfortably fit into the suitcase you plan to bring.
We will also discuss your specific style preferences, such as needing a comfortable outfit for inter-city travel or a specific themed outfit for a special event you are attending while away. The more details you can share the better, as they help us in our next step of the process!
Next, we will go through your closet and pull various items that you will need on your trip, based on the itinerary and style preferences you have shared. We will be pulling clothing, outerwear, shoes, accessories, bags, and any other items that you will need to properly execute each look.
We will then use the items that we pull to style outfits and make note of any potential must-have items that you may still need to purchase to complete the look.
During this process, we will be finding items that allow you to properly mix & match into various outfits to reduce the amount of items you need to bring.
Once our pulls are complete and the outfits are styled, we will bring you back in to make your final review and selections. We will showcase and lay out each outfit, explaining why we selected the items and for which days/occasions they are planned for. This is the time to let us know what you do or don’t like and if there are any additional preferences that we need to be mindful of. Example, if the specific pants we pulled might not fit as well as another you had in mind, please let us know and we can work the better fitting pants in!
Now that we have your final selections, we will get everything packed up and ready for you to travel. The team has a few different packing methods that we use to ensure everything is organized, properly fits in the suitcase(s) you plan to utilize, and is packed up in a way that safeguards your delicate items.
After we’re done packing, we will provide you with a tour of the suitcase so you know where everything is located.
No need to remember which outfit was planned for which day of your trip, because this package includes a Virtual LookBook! The LookBook will be emailed to you and will contain a flat lay professionally styled photo of each outfit, the specific day/occasion the outfit was planned for, and any styling tips you will need to properly execute the look on your trip. You can easily refer to the LookBook while on your trip and truly take the guesswork out of getting dressed each day!
